Shi Wudu
Shi Wudu’s easily my favorite character from TGCF. Prickly, terrible person, incredibly devoted to his brother? It’s like he was made for me. I don’t ship him with anyone, but his relationship with his brother is my everything in this canon, and I also really like his friendship with Pei Ming and Ling Wen. (Three Tumors!) And, of course, I’m also delighted with fic about him on his own!
As my choosing “trick” might imply, I’m really craving something dark for this request—whether it’s something spooky and supernatural, something full of knives, or some combination of both. I’m very much fine with Shi Wudu dying, both the way he did in canon and in newly horrifying ways! Please don’t make Shi Qingxuan’s endgame fate any worse than it already was in canon, though.
I’d love something dealing with the events of chapter 124! Maybe Shi Wudu gets stuck in a time loop where he has to relive the day of his death over and over? Or, even worse—gets stuck in a time loops that always begins after He Xuan captures him and Shi Qingyuan & always ends when he or his brother dies, for an extra layer of hopelessness? What if the canon death was actually the closest he gets to a happy ending?
Alternatively: Shi Wudu gets resurrected somehow. Shi Wudu gets resurrected somehow but Comes Back Wrong. Shi Wudu is forced into an unwanted resurrection. Unbeknownst to He Xuan, this isn’t the first time Shi Wudu has died—he just (to quote a freeform tag from another exchange) “always comes back from the dead. In water. Naked.” Or maybe he always comes back, but loses something of himself each time? Metaphorically, literally, it’s all good, as long as he never loses his love for his brother.
Shi Wudu comes back as a ghost that no one can see. Shi Wudu comes back as a ghost that only Shi Qingxuan can see. (If you go with this prompt, I’d love something bittersweet in a “this the closest they can get to a happy ending” sort of way). On the lighter end of the scale, any kind of spooky encounter would be great! Maybe while going drinking with the other two of the Three Tumors / his brother / all of the above?

The Archer
Roguelight is a free indie platformer. It can be found here.
I was incredibly charmed and fascinated by this game when I played it a few years back. The graphics, the atmosphere, the interplay between darkness and light, the image of this archer girl slowly descending further into the dungeon, guided only by the light of her arrows—I loved it all.
I’d be interested in anything that explores her journey, especially if it captures the same atmosphere as the game. Worldbuilding is also always a plus. Why is she descending into this dungeon/cave/whatever it actually is? I have a vague idea of her village somehow being threatened by what’s down there, but if you have a different take on it, feel free to show me! What are those creatures she fights? What is that thing at the end, and why does breaking the cocoons kill it? Where does the fire she lights her arrows with come from? Is it magic?
I’d also love anything that focuses on the archer’s mental/emotional state as she descends. Does it get wearying and/or suffocating to be surrounded by such total darkness? Or maybe show me a moment where she takes a brief rest before continuing on. I’d also be interested in those moments where she runs out of arrows, and has to grope around in the darkness to find more before something attacks her. (Why are there arrows lying around there, anyways? Did they belong to others who tried and failed to descend?)
As far as I know, the main character doesn’t have a canonical name. I’d prefer it if you avoided giving her one, whether that’s by only referring to her by her pronouns or as the Archer.

Shen Jiu
Luo Binghe
Zhuzhi-Lang
fandom-specific DNWs: “A-Jiu”, the Shen twins headcanon / Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan being family in any way, LBH referring to SQQ with any variation of the name “Shen Yuan”, unhappy endings for Bingqiu (including anything that breaks them up).
In regards to my “eye injuries” DNW: if writing about PIDW SJ’s time as LBH’s prisoner, it’s fine to reference his missing an eye, but I don’t want to see the scene where he loses it.
This fandom has eaten my life over the last half year or so. I love it so much! Some ships that I’m particularly fond of are: Luo Binghe/Shen Qingqiu, Shen Jiu/Yue Qingyuan, and Shen Jiu/Original Luo Binghe. I don’t ship ZZL with anyone in particular, though I do enjoy his intense loyalty to TLJ. And, of course, gen fic focused on any of my requested characters would also be excellent!
I’m fine with Shen Jiu or Zhuzhi-Lang dying, but I don’t want Luo Binghe to die (unless it’s temporary).
I’m so hungry for supernatural encounters. Ghosts! All the ghosts! Any of my requested characters/ships encountering a ghost. Shen Jiu as a ghost? Shen Jiu as an unearthly and unwilling passenger to Shen Yuan’s adventures. Shen Jiu willingly or unwillingly haunting Bingge after he finally manages to die. Canon-divergence AU where YQY died during his qi deviation and ends up reuniting with Shen Jiu as a ghost. Or, ZZL as a ghost! (Literally the only thing that could make up for him dying ;_;) Bittersweet post-canon fic where ZZL haunts TLJ?
Any other kind of supernatural/monster encounter would also be excellent! Fox spirits (both friendly and cruel); mysterious, dark, and potentially cursed forests; spooky fog; any kind of monster or spirit, whether it’s from Chinese mythology or one of Airplane-bro’s creations.
A qi deviation leads to Luo Binghe losing control of his dream powers, trapping him (and SQQ, if post-canon/a canon divergence AU?) in a realm of nightmares. The original Luo Binghe deliberately trapping Shen Jiu in nightmares. Maybe reliving the Endless Abyss, for either of those scenarios? Or horrors that are all new. The miseries of the Endless Abyss in general. Shen Jiu falling into the Endless Abyss (with or without LBH)? Any of my requested characters getting caught in a time loop that gets progressively creepier with each loop. Coffin sex.
For Luo Binghe (and Shen Qingqiu/Luo Binghe) specifically, any horror scenario with a side of hurt/comfort. Tending to injuries caused by a supernatural encounter. One of them gets physically injured, and has to comfort the other’s emotional distress. On the lighter side of things, SQQ geeking out about a horrifying monster that they encounter while LBH admires the breadth of his knowledge?
During the years when TLJ was trapped beneath the mountain, ZZL hears rumors of something which could free him/heal him/make him a new body, but his journey to that place doesn’t go as planned. The original Luo Binghe offers to save Shen Jiu from something horrifying—but for a price. The original Luo Binghe “comforting” Shen Jiu after having been the one to hurt him. ZZL coming back wrong. Shen Jiu coming back wrong.
