If you haven’t checked out itch.io’s Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality, you should! There’s a little less than 4 days left to get it, all the proceeds go towards charity (split equally between the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Community Bail Fund), and includes over 1600 items* for a minimum of $5. Plus, the contents of the bundle keep increasing—back when I bought it, it had 742 items, but now it’s more than doubled!

I mean, even if there was only one game I liked, I’d still think it well worth the money, but there is a particular kind of delight that comes from waking up in the morning and discovering that you now unexpectedly own Pyre! Which has been high on my wishlist since it came out! And which I now own???

* including: “standard” video games of all genres, visual novels, rulesets for tabletop rpgs, game assets, at least a few books that I’ve spotted, and soundtracks.

Some notable games whose titles I recognized & which are included in the bundle: Night in the Woods, OneShot, Oxenfree, Celeste, Pyre, and very possibly more!

(I wanted to add more to this entry—my thoughts on some of the games I’ve tried out so far, for instance—but I’m starting to have the feeling that if I wait to do that, this entry isn’t going to get posted until after the bundle is already over & I don’t want that, so I’m posting this now! Just know for now that I thought Prince of Cats was a delight, and that I’ll be trying to post write-ups on the games I’ve played at some point in the future.)
