It’s that time of year again.
This is a very much barebones and incomplete list of recs, as 1) I haven’t quite finished going through the archive, and 2) I know that there’s some on my to-comment list that I forgot to put on here. I wanted to get this out before the anonymous period ended, but there’s a good possibility that I’ll update it at a later point, once I have the chance to be more thorough.

This is absolutely hilarious, and I could easily see something like this taking place in canon.

She’d written the numbers down, crossed them out, rewritten them a step closer to zero. Felt it then: the clean hum of newly-gathering momentum.
Beautifully meticulous, and incredibly romantic in its own way. If my above rec was a fantastic Kumiko fic, than this one is an amazing Reina one.

It does a good job of capturing some of the canon’s tone, and it’s just an incredibly heart-warming read.

This is rather absurd and strangely charming, though slightly disturbing, and does an excellent job of capturing the tone that Utena had at some of its weirder moments.
