I was so excited when I realized that this was in the tagset. I love this silly light novel so much, and while I ship Katarina with a lot of characters, Katarina/Maria in particular really speaks to me! ♥ Apparently, I’m weak for protagonists falling in love with transmigrated villains.
Usually, I tend to dislike characters who Really Are That Dumb, but somehow Katarina utterly charmed me. Apparently, her harem-gathering abilities extend even past the fourth wall. I love her obsession with farming, her genuine kindness, her skewed perception of herself, and those moments where we get to see the contrast between that perception and how other people view her.
In terms of emotional hurt/comfort, I’d love anything that deals with her conviction throughout the first two volumes that the people she cares about most are going to turn on her at any moment. I’m also very much up for her getting sick or being cursed somehow! (Accidents while working together at the Ministry? Accidents at school? Enemies of anyone in Katarina’s circle of friends, who realize that hurting her is the best way to hurt them?)
In terms of canon knowledge, I’ve read the light novel up to the current English translation. (So through volume 4, chapter 2.)
Accidental Arousal While Cuddling for Comfort - Katarina has her sexual/romantic awakening in the most inconvenient moment possible. ♥
Character Thinks Loved One Is Pining For Someone Else - Katarina actually manages to figure out that she has feelings for Maria! What a miracle. The problem is, now she’s convinced that Maria’s in love with someone else…
Comforter Rains Down Retribution On Hurt Character's Behalf - Maria’s such a sweet, kindhearted person—so seeing her snap or get angry on Katarina’s behalf is really satisfying! Does she handle the situation on her own (magic battle?) or does she draw in one or more of Katarina’s other admirers to help? (Mary, maybe—to help destroy the perpetrator socially?)
Couple in Arranged Marriage Both Believe the Other Only Feels Obligation - Mutual Pining - This tag. *_* You can go with whatever explanation you want for the arranged marriage and handwave Katarina’s canon engagement however you want. As for why this would be arranged—maybe it’s an attempt to keep Maria’s special magic within the reach of the nobility? Maybe her marrying a nobleperson is the condition for her attending the magic school, or maybe the Ministry or court start worrying that she’ll just go home when her schooling is over?
Dreams and Nightmares - Katarina and Maria are sharing a room (or maybe even a bed? :D) for Reasons. During the night, Katarina has a nightmare about one of her friends killing her.
Fairytale Enchantment / Magic Curse / Sleeping Curse Kiss - I love all of these tags a lot, and this is a setting where they would really fit! I love fairy tales dearly and would love to see any curses based on them, whether it’s a more common Sleeping Beauty or Beauty & the Beast set-up or something more obscure. Weird curses completely unrelated to fairy tales would also be great! Or maybe something that affects Katarina’s magic?

Forcing Exhausted Character to Get Some Sleep - Maria is a hardworker! And, iirc, it’s canon that Katarina’s the first person to pick up on that. I’d love to see her taking care of Maria a little—coaxing her to go to bed because she’s noticed that she’s about to fall asleep on her feet, helping her change into sleeping clothing, watching over her as she goes to bed—anything like that.
Losing Control Over Powers Hurts Self / Loss of Control of Superpower/Magic - Due to Emotional Distress - What would this even look like, with light magic? In general, I really love it when healing or “harmless” kinds of magic get twisted or have unexpected side-effects.

Grisia is a dream of a main character, and I really want to see him suffer more. And maybe make out with Lesus for a bit while we’re at it. Or more than just making out, that’s fine too—I’m not going to complain. :D Also, feel very free to linger on how very pretty Grisia is. Especially if he’s also bloody and wounded. For any injury-related freeforms: if you want to make it a scenario where Grisia is low on/unable to use holy light for any reason (and so, is unable to heal right away), even better. :D Grisia whining about small things like being mildly hungry or—idk, mosquitos or whatever, but not saying a word about more serious injuries would also always be adored. ♥
Blood Loss - I really, deeply appreciate how good Grisia is at bleeding out.
Character's Blood is Valuable - I mean, we do know that Grisia’s blood is very effective against the undead. Or maybe being both the Demon King and the Sun Knight makes his blood have startling new effects! Maybe someone is trying to hunt him down for his blood, or a new threat requires him to...donate…in order to help take it down?
Comforter Helps the Hurt Character Hide Injuries / Hiding Injuries from Onlookers But Comforter Knows - It’s vital that Grisia play his perfect Sun Knight role at that very moment for Reasons, but he can’t let on that he’s been injured. Both Lesus helping him hide the injuries or Grisia trying to hide them from him too, but Lesus just knows even when everyone else doesn’t realize would be great.
Faking Recovery From Injury/Trauma So People Will Stop Worrying About You - I mean. We’re talking about the person who decided to try to hide that he went blind just so that others wouldn’t worry.
Fever / Feverish Confessions - A feverish Grisia would be very pretty. Especially if he accidentally confesses or otherwise reveals his feelings to Lesus while he’s at it.
Forgetting to Eat - Volume 6 was very good to me in this regard, but I still want mooooore.
Healing Power That Causes Pain for the Person Using It / Character Can Magically Take Injuries/Pain from Others by Transferring Them to Themself - Maybe instead of directly losing a large portion of his holy element, the price of Grisia’s Resurrection is that he feels intense physical pain whenever he uses the holy element? Alternatively: he can no longer heal in the traditional sense, but he can take on the injuries of others instead.
Huddling for Warmth / Trapped/Injured in a Cave-In - So, I know the Judgment Knight and Sun Knight shouldn’t go on missions together, and I know that Grisia can’t really leave Leaf Bud City post-canon without all of the Holy Knights being there, but I have a Need. Maybe something goes wrong in one of the bi-yearly Grisia versus Roland duels and Grisia & Lesus somehow get stranded away from the others? An accident while fighting, or maybe an ambush by some enemy? And they need to deal with getting back + the ticking time bomb that is Grisia’s Demon King side coming out again? Or—a canon divergence where it’s Lesus who comes across Grisia during the amnesia arc, not Ecilan? Or maybe they go on a mission to a suspicious

Time Loop - Character A Keeps Failing to Save Character B - I’m not clear on if A or B is meant to be the hurt character in this scenario, but I also don’t care, because I’d be really, really into both. Lesus keeps dying over and over, and Grisia can neither figure out who is doing it nor stop it. The day keeps repeating, Grisia keeps dying in new and inventive ways, and Lesus would do anything to never have to watch him die again. Maybe it’s a canon divergence AU (Grisia keeps reliving the day Lesus dies?) or maybe it’s a threat that’s all new.
Under the Influence Confessions - Grisia actually manages to get drunk. Maybe he gets a little handsy with Lesus? Face-touching, clinging, groping—it’s all good. Accidental confessions of feelings and/or insecurities (“Does the God of Light really want me to remain as his Sun Knight?”) are great too. :D

So, I might have reread the bits of volume five where Lesus gets injured and where he dies… quite a few times. As much as I love Grisia suffering, I also love his reaction when someone he cares about is hurting just as much.
Also, can I say how much I love that this was Judgment’s very first reaction upon coming back from the dead:
After coughing for a while, Judgment regained his senses. He lifted his head and the expression that he had when he saw me was so frightening that it was petrifying. He struggled to crawl up and roared, “You revived me? You paid the price again? What did you lose…”His first thought was for Grisia!
Comforter Rains Down Retribution On Hurt Character's Behalf - Someone actually manages to hurt Lesus. Grisia’s not happy about it. He takes his revenge, in a typical Grisia fashion.

Forcing Exhausted Character to Get Some Sleep / Forgetting to Eat - We see Lesus getting to be concerned about Grisia re: the latter in canon, which was amazing, but I’d also love to see the tables turned! You can’t convince me that Lesus doesn’t ever overwork himself.
Guilt Over Inability to Stop an Injustice - Lesus makes a mistake with a criminal—however you might want to define “mistake”. Maybe it mirrors the mistake Chasel made in the side-story about Lesus’ backstory, adding unhappy memories on top of the guilt?

I love this weird student & teacher duo so much. They’re so insincere about how much they care about each other?? It’s great.
I love Grisia constantly going on about how terrified he is of Neo and how he tries to run away from him when they reunite—only to fall right back into caring desperately when Neo’s hurt or when he thinks he needs his help. His reaction when he realizes that Neo lost his arm! HIS REACTION WHEN HE REALIZED THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO DID IT. I can’t express how delighted I was by that being the revelation that finally tipped Grisia fully over the edge when he was trying to kill himself.
And Neo knew! He knew that he couldn’t tell Grisia the truth—that Grisia would react… really poorly, to put it mildly! He understands him so well, and I just have too many feelings about these two.
Aftermath of Temporary Character Death - Neo finding out about Grisia dying. Neo coming back to Leaf Bud City and seeing Grisia during that “half a year of insanity” phase. Just, Neo reacting to Grisia having literally died(/going temporarily insane) in any way. *_*
Bathing/Washing / Hair Washing / Helping Hurt Character to Eat or Drink - Maybe after that half a year of insanity, Neo manages to be there when Grisia wakes up and helps take care of him?
Character Expects to be Punished for Failure But is Shown Unexpected Concern - Lol, I’m picturing this “unexpected concern” to be in response to Grisia literally bleeding out or something. Because Grisia. Even better if Neo later tries to explain it away with “I don’t have a back-up knight!” or “I didn’t want to be pulled out of retirement”.
Faking Recovery From Injury/Trauma So People Will Stop Worrying About You - I’d love to see Neo calling Grisia out for doing this. (Again, we’re talking about the person who decided to try to hide that he went blind just so that others wouldn’t worry.)
Hugging - I have a need, okay, and that need is Neo and Grisia hugging. Just. I need it. ;_; Especially if it’s specifically Grisia being hugged by Neo.
Waking From Coma or Deep Sleep and Realizing the Beloved Caretaker is Near - Grisia waking up and realizing his teacher was by his side while he slept/was unconscious. ;_; Especially if he wakes up to find that Neo fell asleep at his bedside.

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, my overwhelming Famiglia Grimm feelings! I love these four an awful lot. I did talk about my feelings about them a lot in my reaction to Scarlet’s route, and also in my reaction to Hamelin’s route and my reaction to the epilogue / grand ending (caution, spoilers everywhere), but you definitely, definitely don’t have to read all of that. To sum up my feelings relatively quickly:
I love how absolutely devoted Hansel, Gretel, and Scarlet are to Hamelin, and though the game doesn’t touch on it too frequently, I do really like the undercurrent of tension that exists between Famiglia Grimm and the other Famiglia because of what Hamelin did. That bit in the epilogue where Hansel and Gretel basically decide to take revenge on everyone for allowing Hamelin to be imprisoned—and so, leaving him helpless against his killer—was so very good for me; I don’t even have the words to express it.
In general, I do get the sense that they don’t really have anyone but each other—not even Scarlet, for all that he’s easily the one who spends the most time with people outside their Famiglia. I talk about this a bit more below, in my other Hamelin/Scarlet request, but when push comes to shove—Hamelin’s still the one who has the firmest grip on his heart.
As for Hamelin himself—I adore him. Hamelin/Fuka did nothing for me, but I still loved his route for the insight we get into his head. He’s very pathetic in a way that really appeals to me, and his self-loathing is absolutely delicious. I also deeply, deeply appreciate how well-suited he is for hurt/comfort, considering that he’s a suicidal immortal who’s loathed by the entire town.
Begging Another Character to Kill Them - Hamelin does ask Scarlet for death in canon, and it was amazing. I want more, especially if Hamelin’s driven to a state where he’s outright begging. (Maybe he hurt one of Famiglia Grimm?) His asking Hansel or Gretel would also be fantastic beyond words, especially considering that they have an even harder time staying rational about him than Scarlet does.
Breaking Down Upon Finding an Imperiled Loved One is Safe - They all care about Hamelin so much. ;_;
Character Needs Physical Pain or Injury to Ward Off Insanity/Death/Magical Corruption - Famiglia Grimm discover that there’s a way to keep their don relatively sane. It involves pain. Knives? Blood? Burns? All great options.
Character Planned to Die But Didn't - I’d love this in any context, but especially in fic set after the epilogue / grand ending, since Hamelin would have had every expectation that his death there should have been permanent. In general, I’m dying to know what happens to Hamelin once all is said in done! Does he remain imprisoned? Or does Fuka ever do anything with the knowledge that he wasn’t in control of his actions? If he is freed, what restrictions are placed upon him? I can’t see it being easy—I doubt the other famiglia would trust or forgive him easily for what he did, even with knowing that it wasn’t his choice.
Collars - Hamelin is required to wear a collar for Reasons. Maybe it’s able to magically restrain him somehow?
Comforter Arrives Too Late to Prevent Hurt - Maybe Scarlet and/or Hansel & Gretel find out that Hamelin’s in Robin Hood’s hands—but don’t get there before Robin’s already gotten a good headway in “researching” how to kill an immortal.
Dying Character Is Given Life-Saving Medical Attention Against Their Will - Hamelin wants to die, and maybe even finds a way to do it, but Famiglia Grimm won’t let him.
Forced to Harm a Loved One - Mostly I want Hamelin harming Scarlet for this one… Though if you have an idea with Hansel or Gretel, go for it! I just have such a soft spot for this idea, especially if he’s filled with self-loathing afterwards and/or if it involves choking.

I already talked a lot about my Famiglia Grimm feelings above, but I do want to emphasize again how much I love Hamelin’s pathetic self-loathing—I feel like that would really come into play in a situation where someone he cares about gets hurt, especially if it’s because of him!
I also want to mention just how much I loved the interactions between these two in the endings for Scarlet’s route. I love how Hamelin knows he’s about to self-destruct and wants to offer Scarlet an escape from that, and I love how things go down in the ending where Scarlet decides to stay. He wants Scarlet to kill him! He forces him to shoot him! Again! Just, the relationship between these two is so intense and complicated, and they both care so much about one another—but Hamelin’s not fully in control of his actions, and it makes everything so much more difficult. I love it. I love it more than words can say.

Jumping in Front of a Bullet - Someone from one of the other Famiglia tries to shoot Hamelin. Scarlet knows that it can’t kill him, but for some reason, he jumps in front of the bullet anyways. If it’s set after Hamelin’s exile, maybe there’s also guilt about his having shot him before mixed in?

Character Volunteers to be Punished on Behalf of Other Character - When SQQ is denounced at Jinlan City, things go down a little differently. Maybe the crowd starts baying for a worse punishment than just imprisonment and LBH surprises everyone by stepping up to offer to take his place?
Feverish Confessions - I would love this in pretty much any context. Maybe a canon divergence AU set anywhere between LBH’s return and SQQ’s self-destruction? LBH collapses suddenly from an unexpected fever while visiting SQQ in the Huan Hua Water Prison and starts muttering some very unexpected things?
Pretending the Hurt is Worse Than It is to Get Extra Comfort - I feel like this is a very LBH thing to do? Especially in a post-canon scenario where he’s more secure in his faith in SQQ’s love.
Time Travel - Older and Younger Versions of the Same Character Swap Places - White sheep Binghe switches places with the Binghe who’s stranded in the Endless Abyss. Or maybe the LBH who is trying to keep SQQ’s corpse preserved. :D While that suffering Binghe suddenly finds himself back during the happiest portion of his life. :D And, assuming that this is physical time travel (though mental is great too), SQQ’s reaction to his arrival. :D
Or, for a more comfort-oriented take, maybe a LBH from one of those darker moments in his post-Endless Abyss life switches places with his post-canon self? Or maybe there’s a three-way switch between post-canon LBH, early canon LBH, and post-Endless Abyss LBH?
Time Travel - Future Version Of Loved One Comforts Traveler - I’d prefer it if a post-canon SQQ was comforting a LBH from a point in his life after they’d met—and preferably at any point starting from the Endless Abyss onwards. (Maybe past!LBH is feverish or thinks that SQQ is a hallucination or illusion, but accepts it because he thinks it’s the closest thing he can get to having his Shizun look at him with such loving eyes?)
Waking From Coma or Deep Sleep and Realizing the Beloved Caretaker is Near - Tbh, I’m just picturing Luo Binghe from any point post-Endless Abyss waking up and realizing that his beloved Shizun is actually there by his side and wanting to cry a lot about all the feelings that gives me. If you need a specific prompt, maybe a canon divergence AU where he wakes up while SQQ was holding on to him inside that coffin? (Whether it’s because SQQ stayed there longer or he woke up earlier—both is fine.)

Mistakenly Believes the Other is Dead / Mistakenly Believes They Caused the Other's Death - Some strange phrasing on the part of the System + it going down at a critical point leads SQQ to believe that something went wrong and LBH died in the Endless Abyss. When they’re unexpectedly reunited three years later, his reaction is less...controlled.
Physically Injured Character Comforting Emotionally Distressed Character - I’m seeing this as a physically injured SQQ comforting an upset LBH? Though I could go for the other way around as well, if you feel more inspired by that.
Sick Character Embarrassed By Symptoms - An embarrassed Shizun is an adorable Shizun. (Though, no heavy focus on bodily fluids, please. Vomiting is fine as long as the focus is on the act/effect on the body in the aftermath rather than on what came out of the body.)
Sick/Confused Character Attacks Comforter - Okay, but consider this: a sick SQQ attacking LBH because he mixes him up with the LBH from the original novel.
