267 | femslash february & a WIP priority list

Still thinking about Femslash February and that one bingo card—but also about my “finish WIPs” goal for the year, and how the two could intersect.

This led to me digging around in my files, and compiling a short list of f/f WIPs that I would like to prioritize in the coming month. Basically, they’re all fics I would very much like to complete, but are also for fandoms that wouldn’t require me to do massive amounts of canon review (since I definitely don’t have the time for that).

I thought that I’d share the list here. The short descriptions are pulled semi-directly from my file names. (That is: I have a folder per fandom, and then name my files in the format of “character/relationship that’s the focus of the fic, brief description”). I also then included the year I originally started each fic. Yes, I know one of them is from this year. I might be wanting to finish WIPs, but that doesn’t make me any better at not starting one million new ones as the urge strikes me, lol.

Arranged in alphabetical order by fandom.

  • Fire Emblem Fates, Selena/Peri, blood kink whoops (2021)
  • Fire Emblem Awakening, Lucina/f!Robin, I know you see me the way I was before (2017)
  • Love Nikki, Bobo/Nikki, post-Lunar's death (2019)
  • Love Nikki, Bobo/Nikki, Bobo is an eldritch being (2022)
  • Scum Villain, Ning Yingying/Qiu Haitang, post-canon (2024)
  • Scum Villain, Qi Qingqi/Su Xiyan, running into each other on a night hunt (2019)
  • Sect Leader & Little Shimei’s Story, Xiao Rufeng/Ye Xiaoqi, red sky at night, lover’s delight (2020)

A few of these are just smut, so if I can manage to activate the smut-writing part of my brain again, they should be theoretically easier to finish off than the plottier ones? So fingers crossed that the stars align there.

I’m under no illusions that I’ll finish all (or even any) of them, but I liked the thought of making a priority list based on a simple theme, which I’ll then refer to throughout the month. IDK how well this will work out, but if it does work for me, I might make similar priority lists based around different themes in the future.

Also realizing just how many of these could apply to that "blood" prompt... ;;;
