0049 | in which I discuss Kingdom Hearts: Recoded

► I sent out the Holiday / Christmas cards today! It's somewhat later than I had intended, but hopefully they'll all still get there in time. ♥ If you want one and haven't asked for it yet, it's not too late— I still have plenty of cards, and am more than willing to send some more.

► Today's topic is Quote From A Book That Inspires You/Gives You Feels. There... are many quotes which can fall into this category. I used to collect quotes, and books have always been a great source for good ones. I don't think I can choose one favorite.

That being said, I'll share the last quote I wrote down, which was back in October. It came from The Moonlight Palace by Liz Rosenberg.

"...and I learned for the first time that when we lose the people closest to us, we tend to become more like them— as if to immediately fill the unbearable lack they have left behind."

► The other day, my older brother and I decided that we were going to watch through all of the cutscenes for Kingdom Hearts: Recoded, since 1) neither of us ever played the game and 2) his recent birthday meant that we now had easy access to all of those scenes through Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix 2.5. We finished it last night, and now I have much to say.
( fair warning: as nostalgic as Kingdom Hearts makes me, this is not all positive )

► In other news, this tree music is so pretty. I can't help but listen to it on repeat.
