straightforwardly

I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated the release date of a book like how I’m anticipating the release of the sequel to Long Live Evil. I’m not a “day of release” kind of girl in general, when it comes to my media—I’m often the one kicking back and waiting for the price to drop instead. But with this book, I've preordered it, I have the actual release date memorized, and while it’s not an all-consuming obsession, I have been thinking about it quite a bit over the past few days especially, trying to “plan” my reading of it (as well as, hopefully, yet another reread of the first book in the days before) in a way that’s very much not the norm for me.

This is probably why I ended up dreaming about the book the night before last. ( beneath the cut )
